All applicants must have current Paramedic License (and be able to obtain California Paramedic License withing 30 days of hire) as well as:

  • AHA ACLS required, AHA PALS required, AHA CPR/BLS Provider required, ITLS or equivalent required, Valid Driver’s license, Valid Ambulance Drivers license, Clean driving history, pass drug test and background check.

Paramedic Salary:  $5,300.00 - $9,166.00 per month*

*Hourly wage based on position (part time vs full time) and years of qualifying experience. Additional consideration for FTO and Shift Lead positions. 
 
911 Paramedic Pay Scale- Based on Calendar Year 2021 average hours for 48/96 shift (2009 Regular hours and 916 Overtime). 3% compounded increase for each year of experience up to 5 years. Does not consider potential merit raise up to 6% at six month evaluation and additional merit raise at one-year evaluation. Additional opportunites for Merit Raise each year after. Annual Cost-of-Living raises also not included.

About CTESOA

We are a Joint Powers Authority (JPA) providing ambulance service under contract with El Dorado County to Tahoe South Shore CSA-3 and parts of northwest Alpine County, California.
